Santa P & The Elves

Santa P & The Elves, December 21, 2013

In 1988 Thomas P. Florek received a Santa suit from Laura McCamley. In no time at all Santa P found himself surrounded by elves, so what could he do but form a band? And so began “Santa P & The Elves”.

Santa P & The Elves perform original and traditional holiday songs, all with a Santa P flair, at the December Cafe Improv show each year. Santa always counts on Joe Bezek and Doug Gentile (occasionally via North Pole satellite), and many elves and guest and surprise musicians. The shows are usually available on Vimeo, click here for the 2014 show.

Tom said this about the 2015 show, “This year's holiday concert may have been the best musical performance since the very first one in 1988.” Wow! Watch it here on Vimeo.

Not to be left in the cold, the 2016 show is here. Any resemblance to Charlie Brown is purely intentional. And let’s not forget the 2017 show!

Two Santa P & The Elves CDs have been released, as have additional songs and videos. Songs are occasionally featured on the weekly half hour Tom and Doug radio and TV shows.

During the holiday season, Santa P and various elves can be seen and heard at fundraising concerts and events to support the Lambertville Historical Society Holiday CD. All the CDs can be purchased here. Watch the videos by clicking on the links below!
